I’m Jon North founder of SFP Quality Snag, and I’ve spent almost 3 decades building new homes for some of the UK’s largest housebuilders.

I began my career at Redrow Homes before moving on to Barratt David Wilson Homes, and have since held positions with many of the UK’s leading volume developers. During my 28 year career, I’ve progressed from Assistant site manager to construction director, giving me a unique understanding of how new homes are built and where issues can arise.

I’ve personally inspected and snagged thousands of new homes and I combine that practical experience with detailed NHBC technical knowledge to provide thorough, independent snagging inspections that help protect your investment.

Quality has always been at the heart of my career. I’m proud to have won numerous industry quality awards, including two prestigious Seal of Excellence Awards recognising my commitment to delivering exceptional standards.

I firmly believe that the new build homes industry can - and should - do better. Every homeowner deserves to move into a property finished to the standard they were promised. My goal is to make that happen by providing clear, honest and professional snagging reports that give you confidence when dealing with your developer.

Why SFP?

SFP is named after my three children - Sam, Fred and Poppy. Family is incredibly important to me and that’s reflected in the way I treat every client: with honesty, professionalism and genuine care.

When I’m not inspecting homes, I’m spending time with my wife of 24 years, our 3 children and 3 dogs
